So true! I oftentimes have private and work events in my calendar just so I'm aware of what I'm doing during lunch or after work. But not all of them are needed throughout the work day. They'll be relevant after work again though, so I definitely don't want to delete them.

The fact that I can only delete some events on the calendar, and this deletion impacts also my real calendar is bad.

There are many situations where I just want to hide a meeting from my view, and I can't, so my calendar view ends up with multiple events at the same time.

I would really appreciate this as there's some blockers that I can't delete but that are also not really what I'm working on right now

this would be great - I do some public time-blocking on my work calendar to indicate when I'm not available for meetings, but it starts to get noisy when I'm adding tasks in Sunsama (similarly, I have personal events show up as a generic "busy" block on my work cal but it's duplicative in Sunsama). hiding without deleting would make my brain much happier.

I would love this, too! The ability to hide individual calendar events would be a game changer (and would be especially useful for those of us using iCal since it still isn't supported directly)
