Add tasks to objectives from objective

I like the ability to "align" a task with an objective - it helps you work on objectives that are more principle based and open ended (i.e "Do chores more often"). But often I do want to be able to set an objective and then add the tasks that align with it directly into the objective, instead of assigning them one by one, for objectives that are more defined.
It should be a similar experience to adding subtasks, but just an alternative way to create tasks under objectives. I will find it nice and flexible, and make the objectives more enjoyable to use.

Granulate the weekly objectives into concrete tasks to accomplish during the week
JT Green
Asked for this elsewhere as well–it would let me actually plan out what needs to be done for a task.

It seems (perhaps deceptively) simple to simply allow us to plan subtasks in an objective, and then schedule those.
This would solve my single greatest criticism of Sunsama: that there is no effective way to manage larger projects or tasks. Everything is atomized, day-to-day; when you have larger projects you need to achieve, you can't track or manage that through the app.

I like this idea. I definitely have been looking for a better way to align my objectives with my tasks and calendar.

As a user...
who is looking at my objectives
trying to figure out what the next actions are for those objectives
I want to...
be able to click into one of them, [see screenshot for the state i'm at rn]
and from there be able to add tasks that will be associated w/ that objective
So that...
i don't have to do the hassle of jumping out of that view, find my list of tasks, from which i can create another, and then [R] add it to the desired Objective
Jocelyn Franklin
I second this - It would be easier for me to list the tasks for the objectives under the objectives and then to drag them into the days of the week.
James Brown
Jocelyn Franklin: Agreed. Or have a list of subtasks which exist beneath each instance of the objective dragged into the week.
