Visualize your tasks on your calendar without needing to timebox them to a specific time.

An easy, flexible way to see how your tasks fit into your schedule
With task projections enabled, your tasks will automatically appear on your calendar. Any task you haven't explicitly scheduled to a particular time will be 'projected' onto your calendar at a sensible time.
How are task projections different than scheduled tasks?
- Task projections are not scheduled to an underlying calendar
- Task projections are not 'locked' to a particular time
- Task projections dynamically adjust as new tasks are added, and as you re-arrange your task list
- Task projections do not require you choosing a specific time, or using the auto-schedule command, in order to see your tasks on your calendar
Task projections aren't AI - you are in control
Task projections are not calculated using AI. This is by design. We want you to feel in control of your own time, and not at the mercy of a black box.
The factors that determine the projected time for a task:
- The order of the task in your task list.
- The remaining planned time for a task. For example, if a task has a planned time of 1 hour, and an actual time of 20 minutes, the projected time will be 40 minutes.
- The blocking events on your calendar.
- Your preferred start and end time for the day.
Built for timeboxers and playlisters
Task projections should make it easier for timeboxers to fill in their day. They should also enable playlisters - folks who don't timebox their tasks, and just work through their task list top to bottom - to have a much easier way of understanding how their day will unfold.
