Weekly product changelog, Jan 16 2026

Update on changelog format:

We have a new internal system for logging and tracking product changelog entries, so the date at the top of each changelog here will refer to product updates during made the week ending in that date, whereas previously the date referred to the date I posted the changelog.

For example, this particular changelog entry contains updates to the app made during the week ending January 16.

Added:

new action events in Zapier: update task, find channel, and find task.

Improved:

Sunny improvements to connectivity issues, cadence, and fetching tasks

Fixed:

Fix Slack “Create a task” action not working for some users on Enterprise Slack configurations
Keep focus bar in sync with most recent channel filter update
Pop out when hovering over event in calendar can sometimes be rendered off screen
Post to Slack button is disabled for several seconds every day
Navigating to "manage channels" via global add task modal makes desktop app block macOS desktop space view
