This should be working! Once you click "Add subtasks" (or use keyboard shortcut
V
), the cursor should appear on the first line of the subtask and you can begin typing them. If this is not happening for you, please chat with us in support.

I need this so badly! I instinctively started typing after I clicked Add Subtask, and accidentally triggered a ton of shortcuts and threw my whole screen into my daily shutdown instead!
The workflow in most apps is to click to start something and your cursor goes right to where you would instinctively type... I operate fast, and having to use the mouse slows me down.
