Would be super helpful! I have a Zap setup to create Asana tasks from Slack messages so my Asana tasks have priority, task effort, etc. filled in. That doesn't translate to Sunsama so it's hard for me to figure out how to prioritize the tasks in Sunsama. Even if I could mark the priority in Sunsama (and have that sync back to Asana), would be hugely helpful. I like the integration, just wished it was a little bit more robust.

Upvoted. Sunsama is excellent for managing my days & weeks. I don't want it to become a full-featured project management tool because that would destroy its magical simplicity! But I do need a full-featured management tool like Asana for coordinating projects with my team & organisation. And now that I'm mostly living in Sunsama day-to-day, my Asana is being neglected - it's annoying to have to go into Asana to create tasks so that my colleagues can track them, when I could just be creating and ticking them off in Sunsama. Also I'll find myself editing tasks & subtasks in Sunsama & that doesn't translate back to Asana either. Would love this to be a priority now that you've got the new layout launched!

if I could create tasks in sunsama, that would then post to asana that would be incredible. I'd even be happy to pitch in with coding if necessary!

hi - just wondering if there is any update on progress for the two way sync with Asana? Specifically around tasks in Sunsama being created as tasks in Asana as well as more fields syncing. Thanks so much and keep up the great work!

Upvoted. Need two way sync, for tasks and comments. Use Sunsama to bring in all to dos across all our task tools but Asana would need a two way sync for comments, attachments and task creation.

While full two way sync has not been built yet, we've made a big first step today with task completion sync.
If you check off a task in Asana, the corresponding task will be marked as completed in Sunsama, automatically!
It can take up to 60s for the changes to propagate but we hope this is better than no sync at all, for now! This does not work for subtasks, yet.

Ashutosh Priyadarshy: Awesome! This is already so much better. Hopefully it helps solve the issue of having to double mark tasks as complete.
Next on my Asana integration wish list would be that tasks appear to disappear from the sunsama todo list if I scheduled to do them on one day but then carry them over to the next day.

Konrad Kopczynski: Are you saying you want the imported Sunsama task to disappear if you remove that from your "Today" list in Asana?
Or are you saying that you'd like Sunsama tasks to always disappear after one day, if they were imported from Sunsama? If that's what you want you can always turn your auto-archive setting to 1 day!
Konrad Kopczynski
Ashutosh Priyadarshy: In the second case, would I be able to re-add them from Asana?
I'll need to monitor the exact behavior as I see it currently and get back on whats happening thats different than what I would expect.
Ashutosh Priyadarshy
Konrad Kopczynski: Yes. You can pull in the same Asana task into Sunsama multiple times. Just make sure you have the "show scheduled" option selected

Really need this. I use Asana at my business and rely on the inbox to stay up to date on what my team is working on. If they're making tasks in Sunsama that aren't being pushed to Asana, I (and my team) loose visibility and end up with tasks splintered all over the place.
