Change planned time for repeating tasks for all tasks

I'd like to be able to change the planned time for recurring tasks going forward. I just deleted all recurrences, changed the time, started repeating again and it still went back to the original planned time that I had set before. S apparently I need to delete the whole task and make a new one and let that one repeat. The problem is, the task I want to change has a lot of subtasks. I'd like to just change the planned time for all recurring tasks from now in as an additional feature.

Hi Sabrina Mielke this should be possible! Change the planned time on a task, click that task, click "edit task series", then "update all incomplete instances..." That new planned time should get updated to the whole task series.
