Give the user an option of manually or automatically collapsing the side bar. I find it very disrupted that I have to hover to pop out the menu when using any of the 'Day' Views

Hi Shane Spruiell, you can collapse or reveal both the left and right panels in certain views either with keyboard shortcuts (< and >) or by clicking the little << and >> buttons.

If I've misunderstood you, let me know!
