While we haven't built a celebration/animation for when you complete a single task, I did want to share this update: We've just released a new feature that can show a short celebration animation when you: complete all the task in your task list, complete the daily planning ritual, and/or complete your daily shutdown!
You can configure these in your Settings > Display section: https://app.sunsama.com/settings/account#display

Alex Cunningham thanks for informing. As I use my own rituals system (recurent task with checklists) and I use only part of Sunsama rituals (do not publish and summarize etc) I unlikely to see celebration 😭
From my perspective, adding one more option like "Enabled celebration animation for any complete task" would be not so hard but so lovely 💔

I like how in Asana there is the occasional unicorn flying across your screen to celebrate task completions. It would be nice if that happened here, perhaps for tasks that have rolled over many days or taken a long time. Thanks for considering adding a tiny bit more delight into my work routines! :)

Morgen have a cool feature when completing tasks (celebration animation). It would give a nice little extra dopamine hit on task completion if there was some simple additional element to signify it, a box recolouring for example.

Just a suggestion :) I love how after I am done a task on Monday.com, there is a mini spray of confetti celebration on the screen. Would you be able to add something fun like this? It may seem trivial, but I find it motivating, especially with longer list days...
