As I've become more accustomed to quickly capturing things I want to work on in Sunsama, I've noticed a tendency to create duplicate or highly similar tasks. These duplicates often end up scattered across my archive, snoozed items, or backlog, leading to clutter and inefficiency.
Feature request: Implement a "searching is creating" approach during task creation.
Specifically:
  • As users type a new task title, perform a real-time search across all areas (current week, backlog, archive, snoozed).
  • Display a list of potentially similar or duplicate tasks.
  • Allow users to either create the new task or navigate to an existing one.
This feature would be game-changing!
Workaround:
  • always Search for related tasks before creating a new one
