It would be great to have a visual cue (like a emoji) before the titles of a task to easily differentiate calendar events and tasks (time blocking) when looking at the calendar.

The advantage of using emoji for that purpose is that it's easily identifiable, even outside of Sunsama (when looking at my agenda in Apple calendar for instance).
