Hide "Focus time" events in the calendar
Shawn Drape
Google Calendar has created a special event type for "focus time" which allows you to communicate proactively that you will not accept meeting invites. This makes it ideal to get a bunch of deep, time blocked work.
In Sunsama, that chunk of time currently comes up as an event so I have to be smart to not add it as a task, and be more careful as I schedule tasks within that block. If it was hidden/filtered, I wouldn't need to do that.

Thanks for letting me know, this feature is on a gradual rollout. I'll see if we can add an option for that.

Ashutosh Priyadarshy: I think this is aligned to this request but I'd also really value being able to make sure the tasks i push from Sunsama to google cal can be set as "focus time" event types. This then make it clear to all that it's a task and I'm not in a meeting.

Daniel Moore-Oats: Great suggestion. I'll take a look at this soon and let you know if we can support this.

Ashutosh Priyadarshy: One more thing to add on to Focus Time: For those of us that color-code our calendars, Focus Time defaults to blueberry (i.e. blue). It would be great to honor that color as all my focus blocks are currently inhereting my primary calendar's color even if I re-color it in gCal.
