Include Travel Time
Mark Adams
Yes! I have travel time added on my calendar to all my off-site meetings (which helps my team see & know my schedule). Having some method in Sunsama to include or account for travel time would be helpful. I'm not sure what would be the ideal way to handle this, but I could see having it simply part of the task (since the travel is definitely part of what's required to make the task/meeting happen). I wish google calendar would have an option to account for travel time AFTER an event, but if it takes you 30 mins to get somewhere, you gotta travel 30 minutes to get back to wherever you were. Not sure how other people handle this, but If I have a 1-hr offsite meeting with 30mins of travel time, I'll typically schedule the calendar event for 1.5 hours to account for the 30min travel time on the back-end.

Yes PLEASE!!! I would prefer to have Sunsama use, say, Google Maps to work out travel time for events out of the office. This saves me having to create several "travel" tasks to make the allowance for the time.

Add Locations & Account for Commute Time!
Farzan Sheikh
As we plan our day, some tasks or errands are at certain locations, while the next ones are somewhere else. In such a scenario, the user is having to manually estimate and account for commute/moving time between two locations (two tasks). This is particularly the case for weekends, or post-work errands (office > gym > plans). This would also be useful for users who have outdoor meetings and have to switch between locations.
TripHobo does this nicely, but that is specific for traveling in new cities.
