You can create a separate subtask that is linked to the first where you can add notes on the subtask and also add it to a separate channel to categorize work further. So, for instance, if you have a meeting and you get follow-up tasks that might be off a different category like check in with stakeholder or do dev work or research, you can add notes and channels to those to really get a sense of where you spend your time.
