I would love to create long-term goals in Sunsama, rather than just weekly or limited-term ones.

Alex you'll probably merge this request in with one of the other 'Objectives' requests re monthly, quarterly, annual objective tracking... but an idea for your dev team here is to have a look at the Full Focus Planner by Michael Hyatt (sells on Amazon) that is a paper-based planning system (one planner per quarter) that includes frameworks for annual, monthly and quarterly planning processes and review rituals. Not saying you guys would copy that of course, but it might serve as some inspiration as these longer-term goal/objective planning/tracking features are designed.
