Menu Bar app

++ This would be a game changer feature to have - especially now with the ability to have our own sunsama calendar to schedule in our tasks.
Having a menu bar with current and/or upcoming tasks + events would be so helpful.
Even better, the ability to click on the menu bar to get a quick drop down list of the day you scheduled - this would keep me in my flow without having to switch windows, but give me the ability to quickly check in on my tasks for the day!

I'm back using Sunsama after a while but quite disappointed that this is still not done :( The floating timer thingie is bad UX.

Please add this, it would be great!

TickTick's menubar app actually allows managing and adding tasks as well as a pomodoro timer. The ideal menubar app for Sunsama would:
- Show your next meeting
- Allow for quick adding or managing tasks
- Have a timer

It is really helpful to always - at a glance - know current calendar context and either time left of current meeting or time until next meeting. I used to use a competitor to Sunsama, that had this feature and I really miss it. Pretty please 🙏🙂

The menu bar app for the new Notion Calendar is fantastic and it would be a dream if Sunsama had something similar. It tells me what task I’m working on, how much more time I have allotted to that task or how long until my next task if there is a gap, and it also pops up with a notification and button to directly join a Zoom call when I have a scheduled meeting. The functionality is great and I’d love to see Sunsama create something like that.

Would still love to see this, as the focus bar sometimes feels like it's actually in the way. I'd love to have a menu bar app with more functionality baked in (e.g. start/stop focus, mini calendar view).

Integrate the focus bar into the menu bar

The focus bar idea is great, but on laptops and other computers with small screens, even the width of the focus bar can get in the way.
I would like to see the focus bar integrated into the menu bar like other timer apps.

Gotta upvote this one. I love the _idea_ of the focus bar, but don't love the _execution_. I'm pretty organized with my windows/displays, and the little floaty chiclet is a non-starter. Would love to have it persisted in my menu bar so I can stay "focused" on the task at hand :-P

Just commenting to +1 this. Everything everyone's already said is exactly the use case for this. I want to keep Sunsama open all the time to know when I'm in focused mode, when I need to switch to another focus, or to note my timer is still running on a single task. I'll try Fluid, but a natural integration would be amazing!
