Hey Allegra Clark, I'll merge this with another NLP request thread, but know that you can type
~15min
during task creation to set a planned time!Alex Cunningham

This is now possible during task creation! You use the keyboard shortcut "@" while creating a task to specify a start date other than today using natural language (e.g. "Do this @tomorrow").

It would also be cool to be able to add in the estimated time you think it would take to complete.

Would double down on that:
- Add shortcuts for category tagging (#…)
- Implement simple NLP like in Todoist to schedule task for today that last 2hours: "Work on x today for 2hours"

Interesting that this actually isn't there yet. But good that it's a thing on mobile.
To add to the mobile functionality, I accidentally typed 25th september without wanting to add the task to that date. Maybe there can be some first time use warning to show what will happen if you type a NLP trigger. :)

Bump this. I think this would be great (Todoist does have a similar feature). Ideally it would even include planning (call John, 15 minutes, #channel) so it's easier to create fully labeled tasks

Anant M: This might be something we can look into tackling when we also add keyboard shortcuts/command bar for easily adding tasks.
