As of now, if you link a calendar to a channel,

* Any event added from the calendar will belong in that channel

* Any task added to that channel will automatically get added to the calendar

I'd like to have one-way sync. That is, automatically add the added calendar events to the channel, but don't add the task to the calendar even if I assign the channel to that task.
