Option to never hide sidebar

I find it very annoying that the sidebar disappears automatically in some of the views because then I need to do multiple clicks to get to another screen. The sidebar is not a distraction from focus mode.

Currently, the left sidebar auto-hides when going into the Today or Focus sections, requiring multiple clicks to change to a different section. I would like to pin the left sidebar such that it remains visible at all times.
