At long last, this is now possible!
When you set up a recurring task series, select "Repeats: Monthly on the day..." and then scroll through the days to select "The last day". This will have your task repeat on the last day of the month, regardless of the number of days in that month.

Currently, i can only set to repeat on day X of each month. However, if I set to 31st, the task does not appear on months that do not have 31 days.
I would like to have a feature where I can set a task to repeat on the last day of the month, so that whether it's February, September or October, it will appear on the 28th (or 29th), 30th and 31st, respectively.
