Option to turn off rollover (globally or per channel)

Sunsama is my record of how I actually spent my day, and rollover keeps editing that record.
Last night I drove home from the gym and forgot to check it off. This morning “Drive home” was at the top of today’s list. Now Tuesday’s record is missing a 30-minute drive and Wednesday has a drive I’m not taking. Dinner, Evening Reflection and Plan the Next Day rolled over too, and I had to move each one back by hand.
Many tasks aren’t “work to finish someday.” They’re events that happened on a specific day:
- commutes and travel legs
- meals and routines
- imported calendar events and meetings
- recurring rituals
Moving these forward doesn’t help me finish them. It makes my daily stats and highlights inaccurate, clutters tomorrow’s plan, and adds a cleanup chore to every morning. For anyone who uses Sunsama to understand where their time goes, that undermines the main reason to use it.
Proposed solution (any of these would help):
Global toggle: “Roll over incomplete tasks: On / Off / Ask during shutdown.”
Per-channel setting: e.g., off for #commuting and #personal, on for #work.
Per-task flag: “Don’t roll over” on any task or recurring series.
Rollover stays the default. This just lets those of us who treat each day as a fixed record keep it that way.
