Repeat X days after completed

In Todoist this is the "every!" command.
It's common to have a task that needs to be followed up on periodically at an interval. If the task was postponed or completed early for whatever reason, the next instance should still take place at the next interval, and no shorter or longer.
Email follow-ups, or cleaning the bathroom is my favorite example.

Repeat based on completion

In todoist there is option to repeat the task based on when it was completed.
Every!: When you complete a task with a due date of every! 3 months, it will set the next due date to 3 months after the day you completed the task. So if you completed the task on January 20th, the next occurrence of the task will be April 20th.

A good example is "water the plants" :) If I do it every 3 days and don't manage to do it on the 3rd day, but on the 4th day, I wouldn't want to water them again in only 2 days
