Suggestion for the Sunsama sales team and those following this thread: partner with an organization that could commit to a lot (100+) of subscriptions. That would be the best way to secure a discount.

Found this product through the How to ADHD YouTube channel and it really looks like a game changer, but I won't even start the free trial because I already know that the price isn't sustainable for me as a student. Sadly disappointed.

I am a student and sunsama is amazing but sometime I have to choose for eating or having sunsama ? :|

Sunsama could use a 3rd party like SheerID or ID.me to make this easier to build .... don't know the price though!

The staff has advised me to vote on this topic of improvements to request a student discount. However, after reading the comments and considering the date of the original request, it seems like a case of quenching thirst by looking at plums.
In my opinion, it is unfortunate that the possibility of having a student discount plan implementation is low. Despite ongoing improvements since September 2021 and 537 accumulated upvotes, nothing has been done almost two years later, now in August 2023. It looks like a behavior of quenching thirst by looking at plums.
It appears that the student group may not be the target audience. As a student in a country with a high USD exchange rate.
I find it challenging to manage my busy schedule with academic studies and a part-time job. However, when I discovered Sunsama, I was genuinely grateful.
Unfortunately, the price discouraged me from purchasing it. In my country, where 20 USD is equivalent to 90 MYR, I cannot afford it.
Therefore, I decided to leave and close my account after the trial and then switched to Akiflow. I appreciate the great product you provide.

Why do many software companies practically (or actually) give their software away to students and educators? Sure, you could make an altruistic case. But, most of them do it because it’s smart business. Why wouldn’t you want to pick up marginal revenue (instead of leaving it on the table) while inculcating the next generation of knowledge workers (some of which will be enterprise purchasing decision-makers) with a love of your product?

I agree wholeheartedly. I am a student with ADHD and this program sounds like it will be very helpful. I'm hesitant to start the free trial and it actually work because I know I won't be able to afford the $20/ month and will return to square 1.

Absolutely agree.
I find Sunsama really helpful, but I'm unfortunately considering leaving it as it's just too expensive for me as a student. $20 may be doable if you're a working professional but it's just too much for students.

Nadir Matti: It's more expensive than the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite (currently $19.99 for students). I'd call that expensive even for a working professional.

I would also be super keen for a personal or student plan for all the reasons outlined below (especially ADHD). I'm also based in Australia so $20USD per month which is $30+AUD depending on the exchange rate
