Currently, the in-app add task modal and the global add task modal can only reliably support merging (adding a subtask) with the character to a task in today's list.

It would be great to support this on any future day.

For example, I may be looking at an email or task in another tool, and wish to import this as a subtask to my task for tomorrow. However, I cannot do this reliably currently.
