Time Dependent Context
Skyler Reeves
Oliver Twentyman - Same. I split my day between
Maker
time (mornings) and Manager
time (afternoons). I use the
Context
feature to help here where I have a Maker
context and a Manager
context. I force myself to set the
Context
to Maker
as I'm wrapping up my day so it only shows tasks that fall under the Maker
context when I start the next day.So the workflow goes like this:
- Start the Day.OnlyMakercontext tasks are visible.
- Afternoon.I set the context toManagerto only make those visible.
- End of Work Day.I set the context toPersonal.
- End of Day.I set the context toMakerso it's ready for me tomorrow.
When Sunsama decided to remove the
Context
/Channels
list from the sidebar and hide them behind a dropdown menu this really messed with me, though. I immediately found myself forgetting to use the filters simply because they weren't as visually prominent in the app anymore.
