Timebox / schedule subtasks to the calendar
Ren
Would like to be able to drag a subtask into Gcal and not have to 1) put the whole task in or 2) have to break the subtask into a separate task. For example if I had a project with A B C D subtasks each taking 30 min, I don't want to have to move the whole 2 hour block onto the calendar, but I will want all of them to be part of the same parent task. I am not sure if this is a feature already, but I certainly hope so.

Subtask scheduling

I have large projects that have multiple tasks (subtasks) and I want to be able to schedule subtasks individually (not entire project). i want my subtasks to be individually schedule-able but chip away at a larger task.

Absolutely, I came here to request the same thing. I use the subtasks as my routine list, and I use the "task description" box and to section off my daily routine list. I want to be able to customize it where only certain subtasks appear on certain days. Like you can make the entire task repeat on certain days, it would be a GAME CHANGER if I could also make the subtasks repeat on certain days.

If I have multiple subtasks with time assigned to them, it would be really nice if they were autoscheduled separately. So the first time I tap the X it will schedule the block of time for the first subtask, then if I want to continue with the next subtask I hit X again to schedule it, and so on. But if I want to switch to another project between subtasks in the same day I can do that too.

Drag subtasks onto calendar

I have a ''task'' with several ''subtasks'' for which I estimated the time to do it. The individual subtasks range from 1 - 2 hours and the total task is now an estimated 12 hours. In the ''planning'' mode, when I drag the task to my calendar, it is too big to fit in (12 hours long). When I press ''X'' for auto schedule, it says it does not fit (obviously because it is 12 hours long). When I try to drag an individual subtask to the calendar it does not work.
Feature request:
- Ability to drag subtasks to the calendar.
- When you press ''X'' (autoschedule) for a task with subtask, it will look for a time to do the subtask. If you then continue to press ''X'' the subsequent subtasks are also planned until they are depleted.
Thanks!
