"Undo" command is not universal or comprehensive
Kaiden Rawlinson
Yeah it's crazy undo doesn't even work for completing a task. If I accidentally complete something, it moves into the hidden completed section and I need to go dig it out. I should be able to cmd-Z to instead.

How doesn't this have more votes?? It's one of the first things I noticed when I started working on Sunsama. It seems like Undo doesn't work for most tasks actually. (even things like creating tasks, moving tasks between days etc). I'm actually not sure when undo DOES work.
Very urgent fix for proper UX IMO.

Bumping this too, I'd love to be able to undo switching a channel
Joe Grenan
Just here to bump this—undo doesn't support enough commands. All too often I hit undo, and it doesn't restore state, and gives a message "no commands to undo"
Sam "Frenchie" Stewart
+1. Dragging a task e.g. from the Linear side-bar in on to a specific day is not reversible with the undo command.
Expected behaviour: ⌘Z / Ctrl-Z should move the item back on to the sidebar

Undo command should be able to undo marking a task or subask as complete
Robert Hinckley
When I accidentally mark a subtask complete and type command + z, the UI tells me that there isn't anything to undo.
It'd be nice if I could undo the action of marking the subtask complete.

The Undo Feature is Useless

The lack of undo-ability of commands is extremely frustrating. Most of the time, I do something and try CMD+Z and get "Nothing to Undo".

Undo calendar "click & drag event"
Jasha Sommer-Simpson
The user story goes like this:
View calendar -> click and drag an event to reschedule it -> press CTRL+Z -> rescheduling gets undone.
