Custom schedules per-channel are an excellent feature I use a lot, and they are very similar to "time slots" or "frames" etc. other apps use. The difference is other apps visually show these on the calendar.

For example, I set 10am-2pm as the schedule each weekday for my #deep-work tasks. While I know that's the schedule I set because I can see it in Settings > Schedule, it's not visible on my calendar each day. A light coloured outline/frame around 10am-2pm would help to remind me when I am scheduled to focus on #deep-work.
