Wider 'today' task list column, in planning and daily task list view

Width of Today Columns
Michael Holt
I'm not so much a fan of making the columns flexible in the weekly plan view, but it would be helpful to be able to visually identify today as the widest column, with tomorrow being a little less wide than today, and the remainder of the days being slimmer columns. Outlook does a nice job with this (see screenshot).
Also, on the Today view, it would be very helpful to either be able to resize, maximize, or have wider columns for both the task as well as the calendar. We've got a tremendous amount of unused real estate on that view and I feel we should be able to leverage some of that empty space for wider columns.

I would also appreciate some (dynamic?) resizing of how much wide the calendar renders in case I have several overlapping tasks.
I sometimes manually edit the width parameter to 472 instead of 272 and it looks great for me.

This is especially true for tasks with subtasks, and I'm using subtasks more and more to contain mini projects.

Make today view wider

Specifically in Today View, I wish the day's column would take up much more space. Even if it's not the full page, I just instinctually anticipate that going into Today View is going to give me a better view of my task cards so it's frustrating to have the tiny column and all that empty space.
