We've added a first, basic level of support for importing Monday.com items into Sunsama, ready for your testing and feedback.
Through the new Monday.com integration panel added on the right-handside, you can now give Sunsama access to your account. Once setup, items from any board can be navigated, ready to be drag-and-dropped onto your task list or calendar. Alternatively, copy-pasting Monday.com-item URLs anywhere you create new tasks allows them to be imported as well (for more information in general on adding tasks to Sunsama using URLs, see this help center article: https://help.sunsama.com/docs/add-via-url).
You can get started with your Monday.com integration by either adding it through the right-hand side panel (look for the Monday icon behind the "+" sign), or by copy and pasting a Monday.com-item-URL while creating a new Sunsama task and choosing the option to add the Monday.com integration.
Thanks to everyone who sent in their videos showing off their workflow and working with us to get the integration this point. It's been incredibly useful to get insight into how Monday.com is used in a large variety of ways and we really appreciate how you've given feedback and helped us iron out the initial kinks.

Jaap van Hardeveld: Be nice if we could view "My Tasks" as a view. Most of us using Monday will have large complicated team projects, some we only have 1 or 2 tasks in. Easier to Sort that way. I like it, but on mine, I have about 20-40 tasks assigned to me out of about 300-400 tasks on 7 boards that I am attached to. Kinda hard to look through. I have another 20 or so boards where i have no assigned tasks but need to view progress on. so having to click through all the boards to look for ones i haves tasks is a lot of clicks. Second, expanding tasks into desktop app would be great.

You raise a very good point, Liam Halpin. Replicating the "My Tasks" view was the first approach we tried and what wanted to make happen most of all, exactly for the reasons you mention. Unfortunately, Monday.com doesn't allow us, as a third party, access to your data in a way that lets us enable this type of functionality in a reasonable way. We're keeping our eyes pinned on future developments and are keen to add a "My Tasks" view when it becomes viable.
In the meantime, if you're in a situation like your own, the best way to get Items into Sunsama is through adding them by URL through the global add task modal. More info on that here: https://help.sunsama.com/docs/add-via-url#paste-the-url-into-the-task-creation-modal-%C2%B7-020

I leverage Monday for managing multiple projects across multiple clients. I think generally aligning to your Asana is great but I think that a Monday integration could solve some key issues with their My Work dashboard. Specifically:
- I would like a cleaner integration with my calendars (I work across many calendars for my clients) and the ability to see my tasks and current obligations on my calendar is valuable and Sunsama is the only solution I've seen that does a good job in that consideration.
- There is no effective way in Monday to calendar block in order to clear time to accomplish tasks. I've always appreciated that capability in Sunsama.
- Above and beyond the Asana integration, it would be great to adjust some standard Monday columns natively in Sunsama. Status, Priority, Planned Effort, and Timeline would be great starts.
Basically, I would like to handle my daily task management in Sunsama and then manage overall project plans and new tasks in Monday.

Yes! I've used Monday for a few years - it's a large central hub for project management, timelines and workflow for our video production agency. I enjoyed using Sunsama for a few months regularly for daily calendar/task management, and I felt very productive, but gradually stopped using it because I felt like I was duplicating efforts with my Monday.com MyWork tab & Google Calendar. Would be happy to send a video of our workflow. Looking forward to this integration!

I have many way of using different boards on Monday but having a tasks created when someone tags me (with a link back to that item/sub item would be a great start! 🙏)

Ashutosh Priyadarshy: I just started using Monday (like minutes ago). But in Monday, I was able to very swiftly create an integration w/ Gmail for it to send me an email every day at 9:00 a.m. with tasks that are not yet started -- using simple pull downs not unlike those of ITTT.
You may have to work w/ the Monday folks to possibly allow them to send Sunsama information
OR...
If I can send (from GMail) to Sunsama a properly-formatted email for Sunsama to ingest, that would be awesome.
There used to be a website that was way ahead of its time where I could send you an email and CC: something like "mypersonallizedemailaddress13581@lisa.com" and then address that website's name as if it were a person and say, "Lisa, schedule an appointment with Ashutosh for 4:30 pm on Wednesday for one hour," and it would parse out the information and just do it. I cannot find it on the web anything about that site, though (Lisa is wrong, but that was just an example).
Something like that would be fantastic.
Sometimes I just need to remember to do something and if I could say, "Send an email" with Siri and have it get ingested as a task in Sunsama, that'd be incredible.

This! Our entire enterprise uses monday.com and it would be great to have an integration. This may be a stopping point in using Sunsama because of the lack of integration
