Superhuman

Sunsama and Superhuman need to make sweet sweet love together!!! It would be amazing if Sunsama email management could pull in the email sorting/filtering from Superhuman instead of the Gmail sorting (ex: Primary, Social, etc). And it would be great if Superhuman could have a shortcut toggle to Sunsama calendar and tasks. Both companies finding a way to collaborate to make the ultimate in email, calendar, and task productivity app would be a game changer.

Superhuman threads can now be imported by copying their URL and pasting it into Sunsama (Gmail only), using the recently announced Add via URL feature: https://help.sunsama.com/docs/add-via-url. Combined with the global add task shortcut, this should make it a lot easier to plan working on your email conversations from Superhuman (https://help.sunsama.com/docs/global-add-task-keyboard-shortcut).
A few ways to get to the URL of a Superhuman thread from within their app:
- the control + /keyboard shortcut
- Copy page linkoption from their command palette (CMD + K)
- Copy and pasting the URL from the browser address bar in their web app.
Note: for now, the Superhuman URL is recognized as a link to a Gmail thread. For this to work, you'll need to setup the Gmail integration with Sunsama if you haven't already done so. You can configure Sunsama to open links back to the original thread to go to Superhuman instead of Gmail (see this feature request for more details).

Update: You can now open emails in the Superhuman desktop app. Change this by going to your Workspace Settings and clicking "Manage" next to Gmail or Outlook:

Though we have not yet built a full Superhuman integration with Sunsama, you can now open Gmail and Outlook emails in Superhuman from Sunsama!
Go to Workspace Settings and click "Manage" next to Gmail or Outlook. You'll now see a setting called "Custom email client" with a dropdown allowing you to select "Superhuman".
Now when you open an email within Sunsama, whether that email is in your task list or the integration panel, it will open in Superhuman rather than the default email client.

Completely agree. I clean up everything in superhuman so not when I view emails through Gmail on here, it isn't all sorted the way I'd want it. So now I have to figure a way to label all inbox superhuman mails so i can just see those on sunsama through gmail, and create automation to remove labels when I complete the email task, but only remove that specific label. Tedious, to say the least.
