Focus bar Live Activities
Rebecca C
My use case for this: I am not allowed to download any software including Sunsama on my work computer, so I have to use the web version. I find when I'm deep in focus mode that I forget to go back to the Sunsama tab to see how much planned time I have left on the task. If the mobile app had Live Activities, I could see my progress at a glance on the Lock Screen without having to switch tabs/lose focus.

Focus mode on desktop is a gem, one of the killer feature of Sunsama. Importing it in the mobile app should be a priority. And I also think that Live Activties could be the way.

I have used the Live Activities feature in this way with the time tracking app Toggl and I love it. It helps me stay on track and avoid my phone and also helps when my work takes me on the go, which is often. It's also a good reminder if I accidentally leave a time running. I think it would be a great addition.

I'd love this!

Add Pomodoro to mobile and add ''live activity'' functionality
Beadier Unitary
I'm aware the mobile app is just a companion app. But since I'm using Sunsama to also perform tasks that can only be done away from the desktop computer (like household tasks or creative activities) I would love to see Pomodoro integration in the mobile app with ''live activity'' (+ dynamic island if easy to implement, but is secondary) functionality on the IOS app.
Seeing the large amount of Pomodoro technique apps in the app store, I think this will make Sunsama a very attractive option, as it will be the first to fully integrate Pomodoro technique with a fully fledged planner application on both mobile and desktop.
Thank you! :)

Start a Live Activity os iOS when a task is on a timer
Fabio Bracht
(Alternatively, when the user reaches the start time for a timeboxed task.)
iOS Live Activities are
extremely helpful
for folks with ADHD, as they help keep us on track and in focus when we inevitably pick up our phone. Therapists refer to "interventions at the point of performance", which are the best possible strategies for ADHD: if you always forget your keys, having a reminder on your phone is not "at the point of performance" — it would be best to have a post-it by the door handle, because that's the point where you're likely to forget your keys, so that's where a reminder is more helpful. iOS Live Activities are incredibly effective at intervening on the point of performance for folks with issues keeping focused and on track throughout the day.
I currently use a third-party calendar app for this, but it would be better if Sunsama's iOS app had this baked in.

Live activity for IOS?
Zac Garbos
itd be nive if we can have a live activity on iOS 16 and later so we can have an always visible timer to track what were doing, even when we walk away from our computer.

Second this!

Honestly this is something I'd LOVE to do since the live activities are great for that purpose. I will look into this more closely in the future!
