Create ability to delete subtasks

At present, I can't find a way to delete a subtask, so I sometimes have an empty subtask where I delete the text, but can't get rid of the subtask itself.
A reasonable behavior would be to remove the task if the text is empty.
Mostly an annoyance, but would clean up the interface.

I'm glad this is a response I could find as I did not find the backspacing to be intuitive. It would be good to have a right click delete option also

Hi T.J. Kneale, you just need to backspace once more on an empty subtask to delete it!
