It would be dope if there are also automation in importing and checking items in the mobile app for integrations like in desktop. Currently using Notion.

Rino Cheng: 100% with you... Any planning via mobile needs to include the ability to work with and pull tasks from task manager integrations (todoist for me)
As it stands I find mobile pretty useless for this reason... If it can't integrate with the task manager then it's not useful.
I very much hope they're building this into the new app.
Ashutosh Priyadarshy is this being accounted for with the new build?
Boy Callaars
Saul Annett: You can import from third-party apps simply by opening the native app (if supported by Sunsama) and then share to Sunsama. If you open the "more" tab on the bottom, it should show you a tutorial on how to do this.
Simply said, a full-on integration where we pull from the different third-party apps is nearly impossible to get right on mobile, especially if you think that an app for that already exists. So, we decided that it would be best to have a simpler solution, which is simply sharing the task to Sunsama, to add it to Sunsama.
Does this work for you?
Saul Annett
Boy Callaars: Hey thanks for the reply. When you say - open the "more" tab on the bottom, it should show you a tutorial on how to do this - what are you referring to?
I use todoist. When i use the native app it doesn't have a share function. Just a copy link function, which isn't ideal; essentially this would require me going onto todoist, finding each task, copying the link, then going back to sunsama to paste it there. It just isn't a realistic workflow... unless i am missing a trick or misunderstanding what you are advising?
Alex Cunningham
Saul Annett: That's right, you'll need to copy the link in Todoist and return to Sunsama to paste it. It's not ideal for importing many tasks, but for importing the few from your Todoist backlog (or other integrated tool) for your daily task list, it's the best solution at the moment.
Max Aitken
Boy Callaars no absolutely not. It's a horrible, horrible work around. Please make task integrations native to the app.

In the latest version (1.6.1) you can turn on the daily planning through a feature flag in the advanced settings. Do note however that this feature still is in active development and might have some quirky behaviour (hence it being behind a toggle). If you have any feedback, do let me know!
Gina Romero
Boy Callaars: Thanks! Happy to test and give feedback on any new releases :)

Boy Callaars: it’s working beautifully for me. Thank you!

Boy Callaars: would love to be able to one touch auto schedule
Boy Callaars
Ryan Loeffler: I hope in the future we'll add auto schedule in there but fortunately I can only get so many things done at a time.

Would love to be able to plan my day in the app. My mornings are hectic and I don't normally get to a physical computer until 10am at the earliest

There is currently a beta version of the shutdown ritual available to use. If you want to give it a try, toggle it on in the "advanced settings" screen. You can expect some quirky behaviour at times but I will get that resolved.
We are planning to get the daily planning (or at least some form of it) ritual also in this year.
Saul Annett
Boy Callaars: are you planning to incorporate task integrations into the mobile experience?
I've very much followed your support advice, in using a dedicated task manager (todoist) alongside sunsama... and so mobile feels pretty unusable for me without this.
I don't know how others make mobile work without it... Any tips in the meantime?
Boy Callaars
Saul Annett: If you look at the other comment you made, I added a reply there.

I would like to be able to start my day and do my daily planning ritual from my phone

This would be big. It's the main reason my wife won't get a subscription — she doesn't do her work on a desktop/laptop. She works on an iPad or her phone.

As a new user I started to search how I could do the shutdown from my iOS device. It showed me this roadmap page.
I upvoted it because I think at least a minimalistic shutdown procedure should be done by using simple devices (android, ios). I do think it’s important and agree with previous comments.
Also found out it’s been over 3 years since first suggested. Assuming that there hasn’t been a new update since your last comment nov 2022. But would you be able to share that estimate time you expect the mobile devices to support this feature?
Boy Callaars
Maikel Trindade Serra: You can turn on the "beta" version of the Daily shutdown ritual through the advanced settings. There are however still some small bugs when using this. I will resolve these soon and then get it out of beta. You are however, able to use it already.
