Improvements

I LOVE objectives and the ability to tie tasks to an objective; however hiding the objectives in the sidebar doesn't always help me remember what I NEED to be focusing on for the week or in general. It might be interesting to show objectives on the top of the UI to constantly be there and in your face. Or maybe there is a way create like a dashboard initially that lets you know what your objectives or key areas of focus should be which you'd then be able to dive in to the see what you are doing each week to reach those objectives.

When creating a task, I want to be able to say something like "Do X for 30 minutes". It should automatically set the duration of the task to 30 minutes, and remove "for 30 minutes" from the task name. AkiFlow supports this and it's nice

I'd like to be able to visually view task dependencies

As a user, I'd like to see my weekly/monthly/yearly objectives displayed in a more prominent and persistent way, to keep me focused. Objectives are great for planning and organizing, but they often get lost in the right panel, as I'm mostly looking at the calendar view instead of objectives. I'd love a top panel (or something) that I could drag and drop my tasks into without switching my right or left panel views.

It would be really nice to set a daily theme i.e. today I'm going to work on certain topics and ideas, whether that's by channel, objectives, or even custom.

Score tasks on Energy gain vs. Drain and have a target (like time, but more subjective)

On the desktop, it would be nice to have some kind of widget that gives a constant view of the progress on the calendar and the current tasks. That way we don't have to check Sunsama every so often, and it is an easy reminder of what I should be doing and what's up next. I got this inspiration from an app called Blotter - https://www.wireload.net/products/blotter/ . Unfortunately it seems this app is no longer updated, shame. Attached is an example that can be done with Blotter.

I'd like to be able to customize it to where only certain subtasks appear on certain days, the same way you can make an entire task repeat on certain days, it would be a GAME CHANGER if you could also make the subtasks repeat on certain days. Or I guess just make it where you can visually separate tasks by sections. Since Sunsama doesn't allow a way to section off tasks, I use the subtasks as my routine/to-do list, and I use the main "task description" box and to title and section off my daily routine list. I've gone through an unbelievable amount of apps, this one is by FAR the closest to having a routine, timeline, and calendar integration.

Be able to pin 3 most important tasks to keep it visible all the time and prioritize them

Some of us work in Night Shift and struggle a bit when using the app overall. Perhaps it would be more efficient for the team to plan the UI and features around this possibility as well.
